Koyuk to White Mountain

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Koyuk to White Mountain

Postby elsietee » Mon Mar 11, 2019 4:32 pm

I'm glad that Pete and Joar were able to take decent breaks in Koyuk as opposed to having to push and cut them short.

Pete had been traveling about the same speed as Joar, but was 50 mins faster than him coming over from Shak, which bodes well for him.

Both he and Joar dropped a dog in Koyuk,
