Sarah is in outskirts of Nome. Speed varying from 8.+ to less than 1.
And now stopped again. Poor Sarah, poor dogs.

So sad for Richie and his team.

Sarah appears to be two miles from the finish line, off the ice. Come on! She has had a long way from Elim

I was wondering, mushers are allowed to help each other. Does this apply to mushers who has finished? Could Travis go down front street and walk together with Sarah to the finish?

Flashing lights, people waiting. Come on doggies you are so close...

Live feed shows a bright light, looks like headlamp. Very slow so must be walking. She is even more stubborn than my girls

.. and finally they finished. She wasn't leading them but walking alongside. The dogs were all over the place, didn't lay down when they stopped either. Sarah looked a bit exhausted, I wonder how far she has been walking with them

In the interview she said that the dogs wanted to run but no one wanted to lead, so she had to be the lead dog. I heard somewhere that she walked 100 miles. I hope she gets the mushers choice award.

well, as per the nome cam, they have pulled the finish banners down from the arch
geez, who makes those kind of decisions, how difficult is it to keep it up for the rest of the teams coming in
hope this doesn't mean the rest of the back of the backers are being withdrawn

So glad to see Sarah make it to Nome. We got to meet her in Seward last summer.
She is an Incredible person for sure! Over 65 hours from Elim to Nome, 45 more hours than her Turning Heads Kennel partner Travis Beals.
