Vote for the Patch

Notes on #1:
1. not the specific final colors? - hoping to make the nuggets with metallic gold thread after consulting with the patch company if our design is chosen
2. emphasizes BOTH halfway checkpoints, the Yukon River (in blue), and the northern and southern routes, as well as the 'halfway chkpt' award (emphasizing only Iditarod would be confusing in that the 2020 route does not include that checkpoint- thus the inclusion of Cripple)
3. dogs will be stylized, but not very detailed (as in the drawing)
4. the other checkpoints are indicated but not delineated. We 'buds' know what they are, no need to "name"
5. ending with Kaltag will allow us to start with and emphasize Unk next year as the starting point for the whole forum, honoring John and the BSSD kids as our virtual home

1. The background color and trail checkpoint location marking points might be changed during production. It will probably be a "gentler" background color, such as blue or brown.
2. This year Ophir to Unalakleet then next year Unalakleet to Nome -- giving us two patches to honor our "sponsor" checkpoint Unalakleet, home town of BSSD headquarters.
3. This year we could mention BSSD inside the trails shown on the map and their student broadcast team and contribute some patches to BSSD for the Broadcast Team.
