Kusko 300 Awards livestreamed
Posted: Mon Jan 20, 2020 9:33 pmTrying to finish my work here this evening - and failing badly, due to being distracted by the Kusko 300 awards banquet that is being live streamed on FB (https://www.facebook.com/Kuskokwim300/).
Lots of funny comments that have me laughing out loud. Sounds like people had a great time. Worth a listen, including the auction, which is funny in itself.
I believe I read that 10 of the top 15 Iditarod mushers were racing. They had 21 starters and 21 finishers.
(warning that they do the awards for their sister races, the Bogus 150 and the Akiak Dash beforehand, so it's a little long. I think I came in at ~46 minutes right around the time their new race director started to speak (again, it was quite fun)).
