2020 Yukon Quest

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Apparently a brutal trip down the extremely steep incline from eagle summit was damaging to the mushers, their sleds and minor injuries to some dogs.

Scratched "for the good of the teams" has some real meaning!

Michelle camped for about 6 hours (I think) making me think she'll blow through Clinton Creek and head straight for Dawson. :)

Brent is just outside Dawson ready for some rest. Michelle has still 10 miles to go.

Cody and Allen is some miles past Clinton Creek.

Link which may or may not work.

There she is! Dogs seem perky, some in blue coats, eating treats. Happy dogs :D
