2020 Yukon Quest

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

60 miles to go to Whitehorse for Brent, Michelle is 8 miles behind. Both teams are climbing (nothing steep), but I think Brent must is very close to the point where the team will go downhill again.

As for now, this looks like Brents to loose, but there are plenty of time so stuff might happend.

Yup. I was really pulling for Michelle to win it this year. Looks like Cody is about 15 miles ahead of Allen, Torsten is moving in 5th, and Ryne is still camped out at Carmacks. Olivia is quite a bit behind, still 45 miles from Stepping Stone and has been stopped for about an hour and a half.

Looks like Allen and Cody arrived in Braeburn within minutes of each other. Maybe Allen has a chance to pick up 3erd.

Uh, that would be 3 hours and three minutes :)

Haven't seen the footage of Cody and Allen arriving in Braeburn, but certainly Brent's team looked great when they got there.
