Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I swallowed my pride and signed up for Insider. Will the start be streamed anywhere else? Asking for a friend. 8-)

Never mind. Got it.

Morning! The second cuppa is going down nicely and the denizens (human and canine) of Mooselook is ready for the day. I posted a couple of videos in the Start thread, just to get our blood pumping. Whoot whoot!

Morning all, they even had a report of start of the race on the morning news this morning. Got my Blue on Black Kennels shirt on, so it's race time!
Proud PaPa of the triplet litter; Aidan (B), Bailey (G), and Cameron (B). Cameron is on top in picture; Bailey, of course, is the bowhead!!

Good morning my Norwegian n English friends across the pond! Night for me. Just got home ok from the Restart in Willow. What strikes me besides the tons n tons of snow this year was tbe vastly incredible turnout of ppl n fans at the downtown ceremonial n restart in Willow. It took a good hour n half to travel the last 10 miles as traffic was backed up that whole 15 mile stretch to Willow! In fact i missed the first 12 mushers n parking space was about used up. In fact a good 20+ vehicles were turned away fr the huge huge lot across the highway fr the Willow Community Center...
Whaz zup...
