Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Morning. Hot coffee in hand. Anyone need a refresher?

Glad you made it to the start, albeit a bit late, Froze. A little snow never deterred a true Alaskan! Or a lot of snow, I guess.

Froze good thing for you to get a parking place. Glad you were able to be at the starts. So much snow!! :D :D
Morning all, guess it's going on afternoon for our across the pond 'buds.
Thanks for reminder about coffee, had an early vet (aka coumadin clinic) check for me, so no time to brew coffee, tea was tasty and is now gone.
Coffee pot filled and ready to put on stove. So guess where I'm headed ;)
I love this time of year.

Glad you made it Froz! Wish I was fighting the traffic with you! A warm foggy day here in Texas so I'm just gonna settle in with a big cup of coffee and watch the race! Oh, and Hubs is making french toast for breakfast!

Lance has been putting in some good times and speed comparable to the others if not a little faster. Hope he has a good race and proves a few folks wrong
