Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Morning, all. Another beautiful day in Maine. One source says the temp is 24, another 31. The little Amigo had breakfast and went back to bed. For him, one temp is as good/bad as another. There's quite a load of snow on the roof and the back deck. I'm hoping for good meltage before tackling it. But first, there's The Race!

morning buds, well, it's currently snowing here at home, we expect more tonight and could have quite a dump (with any luck). got to do some work and meet with my lifeguard mentor later today a few hours drive away so will go carefully, but the roads are clear.

We avoided the snow weather, nice with clear roads, but play safe, it might be slippery anyway!

Nice and sunny, and ~10F here this morning, but with the sun rising and shining I guess we will get close to freezing point today. That's spring :D
Time to check what has happened during the night..
