Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Cool mira, always fun to watch a team come in.
No one in the chute now and the cam that faces towards the mushers coming in has gone black.
Cam facing dog yard is OK. Good morning all and I will get to watch most of today!!! :)

edit to say, I'm now off to lunch with an Iditabud!! in Kissimmee at Fat Boys. We'll see how that Texas lady likes our Bar-B-Que ;) time now 10am

Missed you by half an hour, Fdf. You guys have a wonderful time. Warm hugs to each of you.

Again, I must say THANK YOU, ELSIE! I missed most of yesterday due to storm cleanup. Your reports and recaps bring it all home--if not to Nome, at least to Mooselook! And today I'm off to renew my driver's license and run a few other errands. So once again your reports and recaps will be muchly appreciated! <3

Goood morning!

Nice and sunny here today, a bit warm for dogs, but luckily they should not run here.

Good morning Iditabuds.
In mid 60s heading to low 80s, cloudy day. Rain would be nice to wash some of the pollen out of the air.

Sunny and clear here. Heading to near 90 degrees F (32.2 C) and desperately in need of rain. Shine on buds!

14F.. that isn't too bad! Feels warm in March (and cold in November)..

We are hovering around 32F at the moment, freezing during night, a bit warmer in the sun. Really nice actually!
