Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

That's pretty cold - and I'm not a big cold weather guy - but I'm jealous! :)

Very unusual winter here in Maine. Not much snow. Much more rain. So much rain that the only snow to be seen is what the plow pushed to the side from only two plowable snows thus far. Very strange.

Morning Buds! Just fog here with a low of 50 and a projected high of 70 today! The trees and flowers don't know what to do! The peonies shoots are coming out of the ground and we should have blooms by the third week in April. Morning Tangles, or should I say good mid-day to you. Keep working on your new adventure, i'm sure you will do great, and tell Em's get that tooth fixed!

Good morning, all buds. Clear cool morning in Interior Ak...Minus 9 degrees...should warm to 10 degrees. Nome is currently -19. We currently have daylight from 8am to near 8pm now too...

Nice they have the Front Street Finish and Wt.Mtn Cams operating now! You can watch the sun rise bit by bit in Wt Mountain too...
