Femundlopet 2020

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Femundlopet. Live streaming on Iditarod.com.

I can't believe it - it's so amazing to see the teams, hear interviews and just generally feel 'close' to the race. Anyone else following / seeing this?

Not worked out how to access the GPS. But wow! Great service from QPAWS partnership.

I wonder who is doing the commentary at the moment? Sounds like Dallas Seavey.

Fascinating discussion on the breeding lines - Alaska, Norway, Robert Sorlie's line vs Jeff King say.

Sorry - grammar is slipping - but it's just soooo interesting!
