It looks like the Iditarod is sponsoring a betting line on the winner. Looks like a revenue source for the Iditarod with 40% of the entry fees ($10.00 for each prediction) to the Iditarod, 40% to winner and the rest divided to other top finishing entries. I heard that they cannot take online payments because that would constitute online gambling, which would be illegal.
Thoughts? Anyone entered?
