Yeah Karen! Now I get to go to bed. LOL. I can tell my daughter I saw Karen make it to Nome. It was a bit late here at 2 am for her to stay up. I was determined to stay up til she finished.

Congratulations Karen and team! I couldn't stay up to see Karen come in, but hurried to the standings a few minutes ago to look for her. Very nice race, smartly run. Snickers must be smiling, fluffy tail held high, looking down on Karen and the team.

Congratulations to Karen! I, too, went to bed before she arrived, but hurried here after checking her Newsgroup.

I also began following the Iditarod after first reading Karen's website and Diary Entries on the site. That was 2000, and I had become enamored with the Siberian Husky breed. As the year's have gone by, my respect for Karen and her family has grown. My dream is to be in Anchorage for the Start and to be able to attend her Open House. Soon, I hope, soon.

As for the "Pretty Sled Dogs" video, yes I have seen it. We have almost worn out the DVD, so have to get a new one soon. Love hearing Hobo Jim's songs that accompany the video.
