That is Old Woman. There's a party there right now. Burmeister, Seavey, Mars, Royer, Sass, and meanwhile Waerner is about 12 miles from Unk

I wonder if (and when) the mushers will be told about the restored hospitality at Shak and how that might effect run strategies. Isn't that a spot that is typically well used for a rest?

I noticed when mushers checking in at Kaltag they were told to be sure and see the posted message about Shak. That might have been the update about the cabin since they already had received the info that there was not an official checkpoint there.
