It is with great sadness that I say my friend, my partner, the mother of my babies died in an ATV accident on Sunday night. The babies are safe, they were home with me at the time. Family and neighbors have been here helping us and Jenne's parents are coming up today.
Jenne was my rock during my rehab and recovery. She will continue to be with the kids and I as they grow into the amazing people she knew they would be.
Thank you all for the grace, prayers, and well wishes you have extended to me and my little family for the last 7 months.

WOW...just wow.

How much does Lance have to walk through! At least we know he is tough and can handle whatever is thrown his way.

Poor Lance. He really does have a cloud following him. Prayers for him to stay strong and not relapse. :( :(

From Jeff Deeter:
As most of you are now aware, Lance Mackey lost his partner, Jenne, in an ATV accident this last Sunday. He and his two kids have family and friends in and out of the house helping with cooking, chores and day to day living. However, as winter approaches Lance is going to need help from his mushing community. If you feel you can spare time or money, he needs help with firewood, generator fuel, and dog food, as well as help with chores and upkeep. I am only a couple of miles from Lance, and am close friends with one of his nephews. We have been in and out with dog food and chore work, but I know any help from his mushing community would be greatly appreciated.
Ways to help:

- ColdSpot Feeds account credit. Lance has an account and we can call in and add money to that account, or purchase a bag of dog food or block of meat.
- Send a Walmart or Fred Meyer gift card, or a pre paid debit card for use anywhere in town.
Thanks everyone
All my children have four feet and fur.
