Scratches

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I have used up my free ADN articles. In case others have here is part of press release:Gunnar Johnson withdrawn from Iditarod 49 due to positive COVID-19 test
Anchorage, Alaska – Veteran Iditarod musher Gunnar Johnson (bib #11), of Duluth,
Minnesota, has been withdrawn from the 2021 Iditarod race at approximately 3:15 p.m.
today due to a positive COVID-19 test at the McGrath checkpoint.
Iditarod Race Marshal Mark Nordman, in consultation with epidemiologist Dr. Jodie
Guest, made the decision to withdraw Johnson, who is asymptomatic, based on the
protocols established in the COVID-19 mitigation plan. Under this guidance and per the
Iditarod race rules, Johnson understands that he has been withdrawn. He is incredibly
disappointed and felt his dog team looked great.

That is a bummer! He was doing super-well and I was wondering if he was a dark horse. So disappointing for him.

Huge bummer, all around. I understand mushers were tested prior to the start. Have they been tested along the trail?

I'll do my best... in the upper right corner there's a drop down for my browser, click, you should get a drop down. Look for clear browser history or it may say "cookies", depending on the browser you use. It might be another drop down, like more tools.

Good luck

I cleaned out the cookies on my machine, and it took some of my passwords with it. I had to log into FB for the first time in several years and couldn't remember my password, The good news is that changing a FB password is a lot easier than it has been on several other sites. 8-)

We, the geek and I, cleared my cookies. That was an ordeal. And like Moose, I lost pass words. Had to reset some because forgot what they were. Didn't need them. And guess what, I still can't read ADN
Did not have a problem with face book, go figure?
