Finish ETA?

Dallas has 230 mi left. At 8 miles an hour which is probably fast since they'll be going uphill that would be around 29 hours add 1 hour for daylight savings time add 8 hours at Skwentna and I'm going to guess at least 6 hours additional of rest for a total of 42 hrs. That pretty much means middle of the night to very early morning Monday here in the US? I'm going to hope it's a little slower so it'll be after wake up time here Monday morning

Dallas used 24 hours and 20 minutes to Rohn. It's a bit hard to figure out how this compares to the return run.

Of course, they have 8 hours mandatory rest, but that is part of their run/rest schedule. In the start, at least some mushers, tries to slow down the team. When the 8 hour rest on Skwentna, that is a bit different. But I think I am close to Linby the labs suggestion, although I think it might be a bit faster than that.

Dallas is pretty much in, 8 hour rest and 6 hours running time kat best), means 14-15 hours from now. So.. That will be 7-8am east coast?

Dallas time in is 12:44, so he can leave at 20:44. It is 70 miles, so 7 hours is average of 10 mph. That is 4ish am Alaska time, that should 8am east coast?

The fastest teams used only 6 hours one week ago.

And that should be midday in UK and one hour later in Central Europe. I think.

I think so? Remember that US has switched to dst, so the time difference is one hour less than usual until we switch (on palm Sunday).

It is 4 hrs difference from Anchorage to EDT. That means 3 hrs for me in CDT. 5:45AM is better than the 4AM I was predicting!

I do hope you sanity checks my calculations :) 545 am is doable, 4 is just pain...

65 miles to the finish.

Dallas leaves at 8:44 pm...

10 mph = 6h 30m = 3:15 am
9 mph = 7h 15m = 4 am
8 mph = 8h 5m = 4:55 am
7 mph = 9h 15m = 6:05 am
6 mph = 10h 50m = 7:55 am
5 mph = 13h = 9:44 am

(I think the maths is right, but don't quote me :) )
