Dock Dogs

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Got this info from an Iditarod notice.

Our affiliate pups, DockDogs®, are less than 1 week away from the start of the
2023 DockDogs® World Championship where over 900 dogs will be competing in Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieve! Will world records be broken?!

Be sure to tune in on iditarod.com/live for the Live Stream of the Feature Finals, taking place next Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th, and follow along on their Facebook Page and Instagram Page for updates, photos and video coverage of the five-day-long competition. If you are in the area, head down to the Five Flags Center in Dubuque, Iowa, to see what these water-loving dogs are all about.

Are any of you Dock Doggers doing this?
