2024 Iditarod... WTF

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Just checked and there are 6 withdrawn. I knew Brent has been DQ'd. Who else?

Okay - I get it now. Eddie B Jr was re-instated. Then he withdrew as he'd leased out his dogs when DQ'd and there wasn't enough time to re-assemble his team.

Planed parenthood is behind all this BS. Iditarod board should be ashamed.. They are shooting themselves in the foot... not sure how many years this race will last... Seen the writing on the wall several years ago..
