Mackeys top notch comeback kennels

Postby tanglefoot » Fri Mar 08, 2024 12:51 pm

Really impressed with Jason Mackeys run this year, top ten hanging with the young guns at the front of the pack.
He has 15 dogs, has reported hadn’t had to do much maintenance on his 24 as the dogs look great, only one with a sore foot. Really hope he gets a top 10 finish! With a mix of Lances dogs and his own, he is keeping the Mackey legend alive!

Yes! And Jason's interview at a checkpoint on the Insider is very good. He is moving along quite well and his team looks lively!

What did he say? Do tell!
Jason stopped in Mcgrath for 24.Had planned on TKT but thought it was better to shut the team down while they were looking good.Happy with team and said it was the best he has done in Iditarod.
He was walking two dogs in video. Those two dogs he got from Eddie Burke's team.
