Well today is the day. ETA for finish is somewhere around 7:30PM ADT.
It appears there is no Nome Web cam this year as they were supposed to have a new cam up 1/15?
Guess that means no pics of the load out

There is a cam looking at the arch. Seems to be ground level. Do not know if it will turn to follow teams up the chute.
The fence is up on one side with the ad posters hanging on it. Do not see the fence for other side yet.
Dallas almost to Safety.

OK looking again and I can see the tops of posters on the far side of chute. Very nice layer of snow in chute.

Jessie Holmes two miles from Nome... Won't be able to get him on video as we're in the middle of getting to school and jobs and all that

Jessie's dogs looked great and definitely ready to go again - there was one swing dog that was barking and barking and barking, tail wagging, wanting to GO. Very happy for him.

On the way to Nome, Jeff D is just about to Safety and is now 8 miles ahead of Paige, so unless something weird happens, he should keep his 4th spot.

Paige was running neck-n-neck with Travis for a long while (Travis was very slow leaving WM), but she has now pulled ahead of him by 4 miles.

Mille is in the Topkok Hills with no one close.

Jessie Royer is just leaving WM right now, and Matt Failor just showed up.

Amanda should be 8 mins behind Jessie, with Pete 4 mins behind Amanda - the race for 8th-9th-10th is ON!
