BSSD IDITABUDDY AWARDS 2008 - WEDS. 3/26

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Good one about GB, Moose! I'm glad you thought of him! I vote we nominate him for a new catagory "Most Honorable Musher!" :D :D

2.funnest thread - trail breaker :lol: I can see this one becoming a classic with sequels to come
3.best trail reporter - frozen chosen for candid photos

5.best avatar 2008 - Di's brownies, moose's moose & flowerpower all make me smile -- but then there's Heidi's Iditarod sign -- call me undecided on this one :)
6.best idita-fact finder - tie --- dilli & johncn
7. fav.overseas bssd member - how can I choose just one?

9.worst top ten pick ( decided)

11.most inspirational musher - Deb Bricknell -- to finish in the face of hardships at an age when most are watching from the sidelines AND to do it while helping others along the way is definitely an inspiration

14.best looking musher - best looking male musher -- the Buser Boys! best looking female musher -- Sigrid & her smile :D

Extra/special awards -- Add my vote for GB Also - add a vote for johncn for being "johnny-on-the-spot" in getting the forum set up, adding extras along the way that make it even better, helping Mith out in AK, etc, etc, etc
