A Hat and MUCH more

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Postby ThisSpaceForRent » Thu Mar 20, 2008 3:39 pm

JeanieB ...wow...just WOW

As most of you know JeanieB donated the hat for the TTP contest we play each year. I was the lucky winner this year, and I stress LUCKY. ;) This years race could have played out so many different ways...

I got my hat today...and so much more. I got a REAL, candid, one step removed photo of Lance (GoLanceGo®), taken by Jeanie...Got some other candid snapshots too,(Hi GateKeeper and KarenF :D )My golly thats a lot of snow in Finger Lakes  ...also got an Iditarod bookmark...and a priceless card (from LeadDogGraphics)...

JeanieB...You ROCK Girl!!! I am sporting my new hat as I type this....even the packing paper was cool...

<<<JeanieB>>> welcome home,

daniel...tsfr

Hey Tangles I have a whole heap of snow you can HAVE! We got dumped on today with about a foot just as things were drying up a little and warmth was returning to the land! :D

Ah well, guess that is spring in MN one step forward, two steps back!

yes please di! it has snowed all night here but really fine and quite wet by this am so it hasnt stuck just kind of a skittering of snow. wolfe sat outside his kennel just going ''wow!'' looking up in the sky and was spell bound by it, he loves the snow, lolly came out took one look and went nah..think i'll leave it to you wolfe and went back inside to curl up on her straw. shes acting a little depressed at the moment, dont know why but it i think she can tell we have finished racing till next season.
