On the SDC Message boards, they say that Mitch, Jeff, and Sonny are all racing. Lance is not. Don't know if there will be a way to follow, though.

Yeeehaaa! We don't mind at all , but it says that it's an alternative to the Kobuk 440. Does the Kobuk 440 start on the same date?????

I don't know. I can't find any info when I search. All I get is stuff about last year.

Yep, someone (can't remember who) mentioned that the old website was gone and that the new one is not working yet. We will find out though.

John, Sam, Frozen, anyone.... help!!!!!! Does anyone know when the Kobuk 440 is starting this year. Also does anybody know if there wil be a web site where we can follow the race?????????

I believe John's comments were in jest. I wouldn't expect any of the those guys to be at the Taiga. They have just all come off of 2 (or 3) back to back long distance races.

The Taiga is a great race - I LOVED it last year, but it is a small race with a small purse and will probably not attract any 'big names'.

Hello Karen. I'll just take the oportunity to thank you for answering all those questions. It means a lot to us to have that kind of interaction with the mushers that we admire and follow in Irod and other races.

I do admire your team of purebread sibes. They are a lovely sight. Would love to visit you and see them for real.
