"When Weather Changed History" Race to Nome

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I DVR'd this from the weather channel. It is packed with info for newbies like me. Show is about the "Serum Run" last year reinacting the run of Diptheria medicine on the Iditarod trail. Watch for the repeat it is great.

Due to the extreme kindness of a friend( ;) Brian MelGouldfan)I got to see it too :D even though I don't have cable.
Was really interesting and I enjoyed it a lot especially some of the original footage/pictures of Nome and Seppala!
