CHAT/TRIVIA April 2nd-1PMAT,2PT,3MT,4CT,5ET,10UK,11NO

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Just a quick note to let those of you who weren't in chat today know we missed ya! Had a small but fun turnout of 6 Iditabuds:

breeze
emwcee
heidi
libby the lab
mgfb
moose

We talked about our aches and pains, furry loved ones, sports and our deceased loved 'bud, Dustmusher, among other topics. Hope to see y'all next month! :)

Sorry I missed the party!

After we've been celebrating our youngest turning 1 and got the kids to bed I was too exhausted. Maybe next time!

(yup, she's one years old already, not sure when that happened)

Don't the months just fly by! Chat is an odd hour (4 o'clock) for East coasters in the summertime. It usually catches me in the middle of a project, or more recently a family cook-out, that I'm reluctant to leave with still several hours of daylight left. BUT, the weather guessers are calling for rain tomorrow. So I'll try to be there. (Wish they were calling for, and could deliver, a good soaking rain in Alaska!)
