I was also in the chat room for Cornell Hawk Cam, it was their last day for chat for this season. THAT chat was rolling/scrolling with all the people trying to 'talk'. Their mods said goodbye, and we all tried to say thanks and we will miss this. Thankfully the cam stays up all year and if I am lucky I happen on one of the mods 'playing' with the cam, looking around the campus trying to find a hawk or two.
This years young hawks have grown to be beautiful (how could they not, they are red tail hawks
)strong hawks. Every one of them did an on purpose fledge, not a single oops fledge this year. So when they flew it was beautiful. They are still young and learning how to get around with those wonderful wings. Still begging BR and EZ for food, which is still being delivered, what good parents they have. Soon the parents will start teaching them to hunt on their own. The BOGs who follow the hawks during the year, let us see some of what happens. I've learned a lot from this cam setup.Next Iditabud chat is scheduled for July 26. Like moose says, summer is a busy time for all of us, if you can, please stop by to say 'Hi".
The weeds in my yard had grown very well 
We'll be celebrating our son Chris's birthday with chicken and dumplings, cake and ice cream. It boggles my mind that he just turned 47! How could that possibly be when I'm (still) only 56? 
One of us is living an untruth! And it's not too hard to figure out who!
