OT Question for the Forum C-Wizards

What's a good program to eliminate those darned double-underscored words that throw out bothersome Gamevance advertisement pop-ups? Did a web search, but don't want to download an unknown/unrecommended program. Thanks, dear s. Your help has been much appreciated in the past.

Go down to lower on the page where it says...

Go to the Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs and uninstall anything that is connected to Gamevance.com.

Good luck....do you have little gamers in your household? They can (AND WILL) take you and your computer places you never ever ever (EVERQUEST....er, EVERCRACK) want to go, just as an example. No offense to anyone who plays RPG's and doesn't act like an addict.....but I am not sure there is such an animal. "All in moderation" ........

Do you see them in this forum? That's strange. I don't remember ever seeing them in this forum, but I see them all the time in another forum I visit. Why is that?

Gamevance is something you should stay away from. As mentioned, use add/remove to get rid of anything affiliated with them. Remember to restart 'puter.

Get "ad-aware" or "spyware doctor" to prevent this in the future.

And I repeat:
