Yurts & Shirts?

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Mooselook,

Molly Yazwinksi came in first in the Don Bowers 300 this past weekend, although Rick finished second 8-)

Rick is a great guy, and I will check into the latest batch of shirts for you today. I went to his site and couldn't find the order link any longer. I love the little gallery of "t-shirt sitings" of his shirts that hey have on the site..and the motto "Work Hard...Play Harder:

Rick has lived and trained out of his yurt up in Willow, Alaska the last few years, but the same dogs he has now are mostly the ones that grew up out here on the Bering Sea coast.

John and Damon thanks for all the support .

The boys and I are working on an interview and will be sending it your way :D Bill is going to be at our place this week and we hope to pull together a few other pieces for the Iditaproject site. Let me know if you have a something specific you would like a clip of...

Also we will be re-posting the link up for t-shirt orders in a day or so. We will take orders for about two weeks then have a new batch of shirts made and sent out. We sold out all the others we had made :o

Oooh. Rick, can you take a minute from what I'm sure is a hectic, hectic schedule to post when the tee shirt link is up? I left a message via your website asking for info and would proudly wear your kennel colors! Now, not to put undue pressure on your or anything, but this New Englander has picked you as home team Rookie of the Year! You won't be able to hear it, but I'll be cheering loud and clear for you and your team all the way to Nome! :D :D

Will the tees be available to those of us who live in Europe?

Here is the link to order a T-shirt....

http://www.eluciq.bigcartel.com/

Since we sold out of the first and the second printing :o (we were and are a bit surprised) we thought we had more than saturated the market...so this time around we are taking orders for the next two weeks then we will have the shirts printed and sent out. The link above includes all the shipping and methods for payment info. We are estimating 4 weeks for printing and shipping combined

Motorwerk...we have sent a few shirts to Europe earlier this year and provided it wasn't a fluke that we (my wonderful wife) figured out how to do that  I am sure we can make it happen again :)

Moose and others who choose to purchase, once you get your shirt we would love a picture to add to our T-Shirt Sightings gallery:

Matt-

I will send you an email with directions to our website.

For others if the link above does not work then you can go to http://www.mushingdogs.com and the site will direct you to our t-shirt store :)

Thanks for all the support.

Tanglefoot,

Not sure what part doesn't work. Is it the site loading, or when you try to check out? It goes to a Paypal screen after item selection.

The site is loading normally here, and I've checked in case DNS hasn't been propagated yet to your location. I tried pings and traceroutes from a couple interfaces in the UK, and they worked for me.

It is possible that the problem may be that somewhere in your network is a server that doesn't know how to handle the extra dots and w's in the address.

Try this one without the extra www. in front:

Here is what it looks like to us....I like the green ones!

Hope this helps!
