Always wondered what the ride down the steps was like. Here Aliy takes us with her.

I loved watching that. It's such a thrill.
I am so happy and glad that Aliy videoed so much of her race. It's such a nice treat to be able to see what it's like from a musher's point of view.

You're welcome Daniel,
I really like their site, they teach about all kinds of mushing things and with these vids, they share the ride too.

Well, that LOOKED really easy! Made me think even I could do it! Of course, I think that when I am watching the Olympics, too! ;) :D :D :D

Don't be deceived Flower - in 9 trips down the Steps this year was the BEST conditions I've ever seen. I actually was looking around as I went down instead of praying for my life!!
It looked easy, because it was easy this year!! =)

I wondered about that Karen. Some years there are reports of no or at least not much snow, right?
That trail looked hard to get out of with the high sides.

Totally! Every time Lindsey Vonn biffed, I'd say, "omg wth? I could SO do that!" (Cause really, I can biff really well on skis.) :P
