He's doing great as is Lanier (darn good for his age) Paul is also carrying the ashes of his previous lead dog Governor to spread on the Yukon. I don't know what happened as far as Governor's passing, but I understand it was unexpected, can anyone enlighten me. It seems this task is what is driving Paul this year.

It's too darn bad Paul lost those 6 hours thinking he'd passed Cripple, seems most of the competitors have a problem with this moving point every year. Just think where he's be if that hadn't happened.

wannbe,
Somewhere in all our postings, we learned that Governor liked to chew rocks and one of them cut his insides
so he bled internally and Paul found him one morning, passed away.
There's info on Paul's site, look in Heidi's information list under the mushers' websites.
GOOD LUCK PAUL & GOGOGO
All my children have four feet and fur.
