I finally had time to read through this whole thread. Thanks to all of you who so graciously translated! It was a great article. I was so very impressed with her last year and can't wait to see what her future holds. she is absolutely one that I will be watching. I actually have her in my top 10, I just can't decide what position yet.

Here's an article from one of Norway's biggest newspapers, Aftenposten:

The contents in this article has been in print elsewhere already, but I'll try to get a translation done during the weekend, hopefully before the ceremonial start.

Sigrid will not compete in Iditarod in 2009, she is listed as withdrawn.

According to our friends at hurdal, she has moved to Folldal/Grimsbu, Norway.
She has signed up for both Finnmarksløpet and Femundsløpet though :) That will be fun to follow :)

What a disappointment. Well, I can only hope she'll be back for 2010. At least she'll be racing in Norway, maybe she'll try the Amundsen Race too...

Well, rats. That is a disappointment. I sure hope she'll be back, and I hope her fellow countrymen/women will keep us updated. :)

One problem, Motorwerk, I can't read it! It's all in Norwegian. Couldn't find an English alternative.
