This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I am VERY impressed with the leading Iditabuds.com Fantasy Mushers! We generally have 3-5 in the top 25 of Fantasy Mushing. Good job to those of you who did such great picks!

It has been a fun addition to my Iditarod habit, thanks for telling me about it Heidi! Also impressed with the great showing of our crew!

39th out of over 1400, I think I can live with that!
(How could I not pick Royer? Must've been the $budget thing!)

How did you do? Overall the Iditabuds represented ourselves well at the top. 2 in the top ten. 6 in the top 40. 11 in the top 100. Remember it is not over. Point values will continue to change at the banquet as points are awarded for special awards. Did you have more than one team? How did they do?

I had two other teams. My second team came in at 316. My all girls team is at 988. Even though I had Jessie, Michelle and Aliy, Laura, Katherine, Jodi and Dee Dee held my score down.

#653 -- not bad esp. considering that I only had 6 point-getting mushers since Otto scratched at start! Started out waaaaaaay below in the 1200 range, so I'm happy
