This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

perlemor we call them (is literally the same as mother of pearls).
I've seen them, unfortunately not too often, I think I saw one tiny small cloud this winter.
But I do love them... they are really gorgeous. Some years ago, hmm.. quite a few I see, we had them really strong where I live:

Welcome LanceMoran, I see you have been busy reading the forum. Lots to read that's for sure. And the action here gets busier later in the year. Hope you enjoy this forum and us!

Yup, all of the things I've read so far have been fascinating. I can't wait for things to get busy again.
