This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

https://fantasymushing.com/Play the game -- it's free and it's fun. It is a great additional way to enjoy following sled dog racing, checkpoint-to-checkpoint, musher-to-musher,
in our own "pack" of friends -- iditabuds.com -- if you so choose.
See you there!!

Ok, I'm in, but I always have trouble running out of "points" before getting 7 mushers!
Proud PaPa of the triplet litter; Aidan (B), Bailey (G), and Cameron (B). Cameron is on top in picture; Bailey, of course, is the bowhead!!

Got 7 and spent all the money. Does anyone else have trouble with the screen bouncing up and down? Very annoying. Is it something I'm not doing correctly?
All my children have four feet and fur.

That was particularly troublesome to me as well this year. Other years it worked out fine. Not so much this year. And I'm not delighted with my picks because of it. Oh, well. Moving on down the I'rod trail!

Not so much up and down, but it seemed I was doing a lot of back and forth between my dashboard, adding mushers, and deleting mushers.
