This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Yes, they took credit for Wells Fargo and we all know it was WF's own fault.

With the post race events being "postponed", I am really hoping that the ITC lifts their ridiculous ban on talking about the race.
Really want to hear the stories, thoughts, strategies and struggles.

I thought the ban was just on saying anything detrimental about the race?

Top 13 in first 12 hrs. I checked and last year it was just 30 mins short of 24 hrs to get top 12 in! #14 was just over 12 hrs from 1ST

"I thought the ban was just on saying anything detrimental about the race?"
One persons truth and honesty is anothers disparaging word.
Terrible rule!

COHusky, unfortunately no. I would like to be able to go back to see his track path also. I do not know how, if is even possible.
Elsie, mira can you find that track?

Unfortunately, they turned off his tracker once he scratched, so it’s gone.

I wonder if there is a way to leave the tracks of scratched mushers. Maybe next year.
