This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

I see the Trailbreaker is about 20 miles north of Rohn and the temperature is listed as 49 degrees F ? Is that possible? What's happening up that way weatherwise?

Is the trail breaker a snow machine? maybe the GPS is too close to the engine?

The trail breaker is indeed a snowmachine, and that's a very good thought.

Hi moose, don't know what I pictured but it was something much bigger. to my uneducated eyes that doesn't look like it would make much of a trail. But uneducated is the problem. Thanks to you for Heidi's link.
Think I've got to get to sleep. I have to work at that house with many pets tomorrow and Wed.
See y'all in the am, nite.
