Who's trail breaker

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Any word on whether or not this guy has taken his 24 yet? Either way they are tearing it up this year.
I think I read somewhere on the internet about a top secret, hush hush breading program at this kennel. I will have to look for the link...

My goodness! You can tell it is the long leg part of the race! You all will talk about anything! I've been a way for almost a full 24 hours working and tending to previous obligations. So I pop in for a quick peek before going to sleep and I can't believe my eyes! This thread up towards the top WITH 2 PAGES OF POSTS! I had to look because I couldn't believe you had found so much to say about the trailbreaker! You are a goofy bunch!

And his better known brother, John, is moving up steadily

All right funny man! Step away from the keyboard before someone gets hurt! 8-)

Rumour has it Mr. Breaker is anxious to get to Nome because he also wants to race Finnmarksløpet this year. Not even he can be that fast, but I'm looking forward to seeing him in Norway next year.

Glamourous guy, btw - I've heard he's got an apartment in Monte Carlo and every other weekend there are pictures of him in the coloured press with some blonde model.

A few weeks ago he was at a Paris bookstore, signing his last book - "My life on the fast trail, a musher's tale", and there was a riot of young girls storming the premises. The police had to escort him out the back. When asked about this by a journalist he replied -No problem, but I wish I had time for every single one of them.
-exit body, exit mind-

I've heard the same rumours. No frozen beaver for his team: it's strictly braised, stuffed flank steak. I hear he keeps it simmering over one of Jeff King's handle-bar Bunson burners.
