Good Morning Iditabuds

This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Morning all. WE have the triplets for virtual school all week, so if you think herding cats is hard, try 3 teenagers who want to do everything but school!

Yes, a post race letdown. All still well here, and the Heating and Air service guy is here to do the semi-annual check and service the system for the cooling side! A sure sign that spring is on the way!

I'm trying to not turn AC on yet, tho going to 90 today  then tomorrow in the 70s. A few days of cool then 80s. at least according to weather report.

Changing subject, I was wondering what the weather was like from UNK to nome during the time the race would have been along the coast.
