DANG I missed watching this today. No load out at Deshka on a webcam

Certainly wasn't the same this year. Thought about this posting and is it usually Breeze who gets it going? Or another 'bud. My brain is getting like a sieve. I will miss all of you and look forward to 2022, when hopefully covid-19 will be under control.

Usually Breeze, sometimes me. I thought about it, and it just wasn't the same.

For one thing, in Nome there is the cam running all the time and we could always grouse about them taking the signs down before the Red Lantern winner arrived. We could see what was going on, when the snow was remover and the Arch being moved. Not the same for sure.

Kind of an anticlimax this year really.
