Posted: Tue Mar 16, 2021 6:19 amLev Shvarts just finished and was awarded the Mat-Su "Best Musher" award from the mayor of Nome - a fun looking golden key. I don't know that I've heard of this award before - does it go to the top finisher from that region?

Paige recounted a funny story of how when their alarms went off this morning, Paige was like, "Maybe we should just sleep in a little more..." [acting like they were just on a normal expedition] and Ryne was adamant that they were going to race--that this was the Iditarod.
