This is a forum for general discussion of dogsled racing, with a special focus on Alaska, and is open to all. It is expected that this area will see the most activity during the months leading up to, and during the annual Iditarod sled dog race. Pictures from races can be posted here. Hosting is provided by the Bering Strait School District (BSSD), and the area is open all year. Care to be one of our volunteer moderators? Contact us!

Our numbers may have been down in chat but we were a lively group! Several commented they missed our monthly get togethers there.
We will have a post race chat on 4/2/23 at 1PM ADT for a couple hrs. I might even get together a post race trivia contest to do 30 mins in!
SEE MY BUDS THERE~

Been forever since I have been in here. I get on here and there, but the days of staying up and hitting F5 repeatedly are in the rear-view mirror. Rachael is married, a mom now and running the sled dog business in Bend with her husband. Jerry is semi-retired. We moved away from Bend almost 6 years ago, back to my old stomping grounds before Alaska and Oregon. Moved back to take care of my elderly folks. Hard season of life, making the best of it.
